These days, it’s not just the construction industry we cater for. Events, festivals, weddings and parties all come under the caring wing of Tardis toilet hire.

Construction relies on the staple ‘cold wash’ toilet which is HSE compliant, featuring a sink which allows washing and immersion of the forearms up to the elbow.

The toilet is a robust and durable construction and has a lockable door. The flush system is a simple hand operated lever which delivers a hygienic blue liquid. The toilet is a completely self-contained affair. All you need to is site it on firm flat ground and take your own magazine to read.

We provide toilet tissue, hand towels and soap which is replenished on the service which is included in all construction hires.

In addition to the construction model, we have many variants of portable toilet which are suited to particular needs. We keep a large stock of disabled or limited mobility toilets which are big enough to accommodate a wheelchair users and carer.

It has a wider door and internal rails and no thresholdstrip to act as an onstruction.

These toilets are a must at any large gathering such as a festival or carnival, as organisers are duty bound to cater for people with special needs. This toilet is specially design to meet those needs adequately.

Event toilets are designed for high traffic use. Unlike the construction model, they do not feature a sink, we hand hygiene being catered for via provision of hand sanitising cream or gel.

To complement the event toilet, we also have free standing hand care and hand wash units which dispense hand cleaning gel/cream or in the case of was h units, good old fashioned water.

Whilst we’re on the subject of high traffic events, we can also offer advice with regards the number of toilets you’ll need to meet demand.

There’s a useful automatic toilet calculator on the website, but our advice on the telephone can be valuable, as you also need to decide what level of service crew you’ll be providing to keep the units empty and clean.

Cleanliness as they say, is next to Godliness and that’s why we offer more sophisticated clean up facilities as part of our hire range.

We have individual portable showers.

Very popular with event organisers since their introduction last year, have been our luxury 2 bay portable shower units, where up to four people can shower in complete privacy.

They are ready for business in less than ten minutes and all you need is a water supply (this can be a tank or bowser), drainage for the grey water, an on demand pump (which we also keep in stock for hire) or an electricity supply for the pump and lighting.

Heating of the water comes via bottled gas stores at one end of the unit.

In each cubicle, there’s a curtain and a separate area for changing clothes and checking out how good you’ll look in the mirror.

Returning to the portable toilet range, for the longer term hire, we have the mains portable toilet, so called because it is designed to be connected to your mains utilities of water, electricity and sewage flush away. It features a porcelain pan and traditional flush, just like the loo at home.

Less complex to install, is our hot wash portable toilet, which as you might imagine, requires a mains connection to power the heater, but we reckon it would be best to describe this as a hybrid of the construction toilet offering the luxury of hot water.

Now we’ve already mentioned our luxury shower trailers.

We can also provide a similar toilet facility with individual cubicles, traditional flushes and proper hand basins just like at home, dare we say possibly even posher?

The luxury toilet trailer has a series of variations, so do talk to the helpful and very knowledgeable hire desk team to discuss which is best for your event.

This option is popular for weddings where your home facilities won’t keep up with demand and at outdoor sporting events. Last year for example, our trailers provided luxury loo facilities for the VIP element of several large festivals.

Vehicle you say? Yes indeed. When clients book items from us, they often fail to take into account the width of gates we my need to pass through or other limiting factors. With the hire acknowledgment, we send a spec sheet for all items of plant and corresponding vehicles allowing the client to review dimensions etc and be doubly sure everything goes smoothly with the delivery to site.

And if things aren’t quite right, we can arrange alternatives to ensure the delivery goes without a hitch.
