Tardis H2O on site are bulk water specialists and when we say bulk water, we mean the following:

Bottled drinking water by the pallet

What better a way to provide instant refreshing hydration to event visitors, sporting competitors and concert revellers, than bottled water in bulk.

For an event organiser, it takes away the responsibility of ensuring the water is fit for purpose, as each bottled comes sealed, just like the ones you buy in the supermarket.

With a choice of sizes, 330ml to 1.5 litre and classic screw or sports cap, you just need to chose how many bottles for instant refreshment.

Pallets of Bottled Water

Towable water bowsers and IBC containers

This is the entry level of bulk water in one container.

Towable bowsers are available in two sizes and two variables.

1000 and 2000 litre capacities and in site towable or highway towable variants.

Site towable bowsers can only be towed with a payload, but the vehicle towing must be correct for the size and weight of bowser.

Highway towable models have a safety break away braking mechanism which engages should the bowser become unhitched from the towing vehicle.

IBC – this stands for intermediate bulk container. There, we bet you didn’t know that.

These provide a robust storage vessel with a capacity of 1000 litres. Commonly, the translucent white are used for storing clean water.

Black IBCs denote waste water.

IBCs will often be used on the rooves of welfare cabins, to provide water for handwashing and toilet flush purposes, as raising above ground level provides a gravity feed. Care should be exercised though, as a thousand litres of water weighs a metric tonne.

1000 Litre Water Tanks

Bulk water tanks

A heavy duty plastic tank starting at 5000 litres in capacity and going up to 20,000 litres.

These are often found on long term construction sites, to provide water for welfare cabins and toilet blocks, utilising an electric on-demand pump to provide pressure.

Bulk storage and unobtrusive, the bladder or pillow tank can be up to 250,000 litres with easy deployment and a relatively small footprint. No evaporation, perfect for long term storage.

5000 Litre Static Water Tank

Tanker barrel Often found on construction sites with a thirst for fresh water, we unhitch an articulated tanker barrel from the towing vehicle to provide up to 30,000 litres of water at a time, which we pop along to top up on an as and when required basis.

Tanker Trailer Hire

We mentioned on-demand pumps earlier. We also hold a wide variety of pumps to help you move your stored water around.

If you tell us where you’re pumping it, we’ll provide the advice and pump for the job. And what do we find our clients do with all this water. You’d be surprised, we often are.

Refilling a pool for the sea lions at a zoo, swimming pools for people not sea lions. Water for ballast when builders are burying tanks in concrete, the weight of the water prevents the tank from floating in the wet concrete. Talking of concrete, making the stuff uses litres of the stuff.

We supplied water to a site where they would be concreting for two whole years to make foundations for warehousing.

All these instances involved bulk clean water, fit for purpose, but we also supply and deliver in pristine condition, quality assured drinking water.

And yes, we’ve supplied 60,000 litres of that in one day, to a luxury tower block in Manchester, who supply the block from a sealed, pressurised tank system under the block.

Bulk Water Delivery

Drinking water has to be loaded and delivered in a strictly controlled method. The hoses and fittings used to fill the tanker are food grade and are sanitised before use. The tanker itself is flushed out and sanitised. The water is tested at point of loading.

On delivery, again, hoses and fittings are treated and if we’ve supplied the storage vessels, these are sealed following their deep cleansing, to ensure the water that’s put in them is fit for purpose, almost pampered you might say.

Post delivery, the responsibility for the condition of the water, passes to the client.

That’s why, we’ve available, a Water Hygienist who can test the water on site for the common causes of upset stomachs and more serious maladies such as Legionella. We can test for a lot more, but that’s another story we’ll keep for its own web page.
