In addition to having a published Health & Safety policy, Tardis Environmental are a company who observes and practices good Health & Safety in house, on site in fact, everywhere we go.

Our people are important to us as are our customers and that’s why we practice the old adage of “say what you do and do what you say”.

Internally, we have a training policy which starts with induction of new employees, who are introduced to the potential hazards of working in our field of operations.

They are trained in all aspects of safe operation of their vehicles and plant.

We maintain training with a program of courses and in-house instructional videos such as working at height and safe use of harnesses.

We regularly liaise with our clients and end users of our service to develop and implement risk assessments and method statements in association with what can be complex undertakings, confined space entry for example.

The use of prepared work instructions to operators, reduces the margin for error and therefore the margin of accidents.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Tardis do not tolerate any drug or alcohol mis use throughout the business with a robust drug and alcohol testing procedure in place for employees that visit customer sites and beyond.
