Select Page

There are three layers to your septic tank.

First layer is called scum which is waste that cannot be decomposed and will need to be pumped out by a tank emptying company who will take away the waste.

Second layer called waste water is exited through a T-shaped outlet pipe to a drain field which will then soak through the soil back to ground water.

Third layer called sludge and eaten by helpful bacteria. This is solid waste that drops to the bottom of the septic tank.

Tardis Environmental can provide a Septic tank emptying service nationwide.
