Police Election 15th November.
On the 15th November something special will be happening to England and Wales.
We will have the opportunity to choose our own Police Commissioner. Visit http://www.policeelections.com for all the information you will need on what the candidate will offer in your postcode.
This will be the first time ever the general public will elect a police crime commissioner who will be responsible for how crime is tackled in their area of coverage.
The Elected Police Crime Commissioner will aim to cut crime and deliver a efficient and effective service within their police force area
The first ever PCC elections will take place on 15 November 2012 to elect a PCC for each police force area in England and Wales outside London.
Everyone registered to vote in the police force area will be able to vote.
